Directions:

For best results, exfoliate your face prior to use. Mist onto clean skin, no make-up or lotion in a sweeping motion on face and neck. Wait 6-8 hours after application before washing your face. Apply as needed daily until your desired color is achieved. Using twice weekly will maintain results.

It is used in the formulation to provide soothing natural astringent properties in a very light form, lower than in toners to allow for continued use without buildup and keeping skin freshly toned.
